Economical benefits Using very small amounts of chemicals, optimisation can be performed in the early stage of product development in a fast and cost effective way. Consecutively, optimal parameters can easily be translated to larger flow reactors. This will result in a decreased time-to-market of your chemical products.

Technical Benefits
Automated operation
The FlowScreen can perform extensive optimisation experiments autonomously.
System is designed for optimisation
Through years of research, we created the best design for microreactor systems dedicated for reaction screening and optimisation. During the experiments, the system produces amounts of product adapted to analysis equipment, without losing precious material and producing waste.
Precise control over process parameters & maximum safety
With the dedicated software and hardware, you are in control over the reactor, and can change reaction parameters such as temperature, reaction time, reagent and catalyst stoichiometries very easily. The electronic control hardware has built in safety procedures to maximise safety for the user and the environment
Applications
The FlowScreen is designed to be controlled and used by chemists in Research and Development environments.
Microreactor technology is suitable for a wide variety of chemical reactions, such as exothermic processes, oxidations, enzymatic or catalytic conversions, protective group chemistry and many more.
Parameter screening
Investigating the influence of parameters such as temperature, reaction time, and concentration, is often the first step in chemical product development. In this phase, a wide range of parameter values can be automatically screened in a short time period using the FlowScreen.
Reaction optimisation
In order to determine the final optimum for a chemical process, a complete optimisation run can be automatically performed with the FlowScreen.
Process validation
An optimum for a chemical process needs to be validated for robustness and reproducibility, especially in a cGMP environment. The FlowScreen can validate processes by screening reaction parameters close to the optimum found.
