(Nano) materials

Nanoparticles

FutureChemistry can control the formation of (nano) particles in such way that the chemical, Biological and physical properties of the end-material are tuned to the final requirements demand.

From Quantum dots to Spherical NanoParticles

FutureChemistry and its affiliated company BioMed Elements develop and supply a wide range of different types of nanoparticles, including Quantum dots, metal-based nanoparticles and even spherical nanoparticles formed from biopolymers. While FutureChemistry has expertise in designing safe and efficient equipment for the manufacturing of quantum dots,  BioMed Elements converts unstructured biopolymers into well-defined spherical nanoparticles.

Biopolymer nanoparticles

BioMed Elements develops and manufactures medical devices and components for medical devices based on gelatin, hyaluronic acid or other biopolymers. The BioMed experts use their extensive knowledge and expertise to process the biopolymers into different end-forms with different functionalities. The core technology gives us additional control over the material specifications.

Biopolymers are used in many industries and have properties that can be useful for several applications. BioMed Elements has the technology and expertise to convert unstructured biopolymers, such as sugars and proteins, into well-defined spherical nano / submicron particles also known as colloids. With their core technology BioMed Elements can control this formation to such a degree that they can influence the characteristics (e.g., size and density) of these spherical particles.

The spheres are the building blocks that form the end-materials (i.e., sols, sponges, powders and gels). By controlling the particle characteristics BioMed Elements can thereby also influence the chemical, biological and physical properties of the end-materials and adjust them to meet the final requirements demanded by the application. With their proprietary and patented process BioMed Elements has access to these natural materials, but with the added control over functionality and specifications (e.g., degradation and viscosity). This unique combination makes these natural materials useful for many more applications.
