Photochemistry in continuous flow offers multiple advantages over its batch-wise analogue. A model reaction – the photosensitized conjugate addition of isopropanol to furanone – was successfully translated from batch to continuous flow in the FlowStart microreactor platform expanded with the Photochemistry module, showing the viability of continuous flow photochemistry.
