Microreactor technology is currently emerging as a new way of conducting chemical process steps. The technique is very promising because microreactors, or microstructured reactors, as they are also called, have some intrinsic advantages:
- Improved control over process parameters
- Enhanced safety for production of chemical compounds
- Less chemical waste and less consumption of precious starting compounds
These benefits encouraged researchers in academia and industry to introduce microreactor technology into their own laboratory. We now develop and build the essential hardware and software around microreactors, and offer complete systems in order to harvest the great potentials of this new technology.
